Dan started training the Princeton Rugby teams this past September, when he joined the Princeton University Strength and Conditioning staff. Dan is a familiar face to Princeton University, completing an internship in 2015. In addition to working with both the Men’s and Women’s Rugby teams, Dan serves as the strength and conditioning coach for the Men’s Volleyball team.
Before coming back to Princeton, Dan was a Personal Trainer at Lifetime Athletic in Mount Laurel, New Jersey, where he worked with a diverse group of clients, in both 1:1 and in small group settings. Furthermore, Dan completed additional internships, which included TEST Sports Club and the University of Pennsylvania. At TEST, he worked with professional football players preparing for their upcoming seasons and the NFL Draft Combine. Whereas at the University of Penn, he trained numerous D1 athletic teams in the varsity weight room.
Lastly, Dan has earned his Master’s Degree in Recreation and Sport Sciences from Ohio University, where he also served as a graduate assistant professor. Prior to Ohio, Dan obtained his Bachelor’s Degree from Rutgers University, New Brunswick in Exercise Science and Sport Sciences, where he played ice hockey. Dan is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) from the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA), a Certified Functional Strength Coach (CFSC) from Michael Boyle’s Strength and Conditioning (MBSC), and is a Level 1 Sports Performance Coach through the United States of America Weightlifting (USAW) organization.
