Nic Clapinson
- Position: Assistant Coach
Nic Clapinson a Montreal native grew up playing rugby for Hudson High School, John Abbott College, Ste. Anne-de-Bellevue RFC and Quebec. He went on to represent Canada through age-grade and Senior level and also played in England for the Leicester Tigers and Waterloo Rugby Club in Liverpool. Following his playing career Clapinson worked as Executive Director of Rugby Quebec, coached Town of Mount Royal Rugby Club, Concordia University, Quebec U18, and the Quebec Senior Provincial Side. Nic also coached the University of Pennsylvania from 2016-2018.
The 5 years prior to arriving in the USA, 2010-2015, Clapinson lived in Belgium where he coached at ASUB Rugby Waterloo, winning 2 National Division 1 Championships and a U17 National Championship and was head coach at Boitsfort RC for a season before returning to North America.
Nic is a USA Rugby level 300 coach currently works as a Development officer for USA Rugby and is also on the coaching staff of Philadelphia Whitemarsh RFC.
