Ashley Kline Handwerk ’96 P26
Position: Board Member
Major: Doing everything but attending class, but Ashley managed to graduate with a BA from the School for Public and International Affairs
Rugby history: Flanker: Spring 1994-Spring 1996; Co-captain: Spring 1995-Spring 1996 and Coach: Fall 1995-Spring 1996; National Champions 1995 & 1996. Ashley started Princeton on the field hockey team, but jumped to the rugby team in her sophomore spring and never looked back. Beyond the brilliant fun of the sport itself, the amazing teammates that always had your back and the unwavering coaches that believed in you more than you did yourself were what made this aspect of college so amazing.
After Princeton: Following college, I added a Master’s degree and a law degree, as well as a husband, two kids and multiple pets. We roamed the East Coast of the US for years, until we finally settled in Baltimore, though I remain a dedicated Philadelphia sports fan. I currently work in Human Resources for an international biotech company, helping the organization and employees navigate change in the workplace.
