Maggie Dillon
- Class: 2006
Mags played prop for PUWRFC from 2003-2006. She was lucky to play for coaching greats Richard Lopacki, Emil Signes and Chris Ryan on teams that won EPRUs and Ivies (2003) and advanced to the USA Rugby National Championship Game (2004) and Sweet Sixteen (2006). She played rugby while on study abroad in Germany for the Berliner Sport Verein in 2005 and cheered her teammates on from afar as they advanced to the Final Four.
Mags was a Princeton in Asia Fellow at the Lao Rugby Federation from 2010-2013. In that time, she worked with an Australian NGO to launch an innovative sport-for-development program using rugby to deliver life-skills and healthy living messages to children and youth in rural communities in the north of Lao PDR. She was Lao Rugby’s delegate to the Asia Rugby Football Union Council (now Asia Rugby) and served on its Executive Committee, the first woman to do so.
Mags lives in Princeton, where she is the Executive Director of Princeton in Asia, a 122-year-old nonprofit organization that fosters mutual appreciation and cultural understanding between the US and Asia.
