I began playing rugby in the fall of 2000 during my freshman year, and I played flanker and second-row. Rugby was a highlight of my years at Princeton, with great camaraderie and an exhilarating sport. I continued to play through all four years of college, winning two regional championships, 3 Koranda Cups, Princeton Rugby’s first Ivy League championship in 25 years, and I was selected All-Ivy League in 2004. I was the club President in 2003-2004.
Since graduating, I have been an active member of the Flying Tigers, with yearly alumni games and I have competed as a Flying Tiger on international tours to Trinidad and Martinique. While I was in medical school, I joined a few of my Princeton teammates to play with the Wharton Business School Rugby Club, where I traveled throughout the US and toured in Australia.
I continue to feel a great bond with Princeton Rugby Club, and I enjoy playing in the annual fall alumni game and being a member of Alumni Board since 2013. My Princeton teammates remain my closest friends, and I look forward to joining them on the field for every Flying Tigers match.
I currently live in New York with my wife and daughter, where I am a Pulmonary Critical Care physician.
