Princeton lost two hard fought home games in October, dropping 5-22 to Harvard, and 12-20 against U Penn.
Princeton is still working to regain its form following the loss of scrum-half and team co-captain Max Weber. Max suffered a fall season-ending injury making a try-saving tackle early in the Dartmouth match a few weeks ago. Prior to his injury, Max had been the Ivy League’s top point scorer.
Princeton’s Man of the Match in the Harvard game was Mark Goldstein, who played his first ever game at scrum-half. Man of the Match in the Penn game was Billy Haynes.
Thank you to Mark Kenny from the Met NY Referee’s Union for refereeing our Penn match.
We wish Harvard and Penn all the best for the remainder of the season.
Princeton has two games left in the 2016 fall season. On Saturday November 8th, the team travels up to Ithaca to play Cornell, and then on November 15th, Princeton will take on Brown at home.
